Svoje poletje sem si podaljšala s septembrskim potovanjem v toplo, sončno in vedno navdihujočo Barcelono.

I extended my summer with the September trip to the warm, sunny and always inspiring Barcelona. This capital of Catalonia is the third on the list of the most visited European cities, immediately after London and Paris. It fascinated me because of its vibrancy, which is not reflected solely in the stunning architecture, for which Gaudi certainly deserves some credit, but also because of a number of green parks and blue shores. Most of all, I am impressed by the life of this city and the fact that every quarter has its own special soul. And because of the urban pulse of the city, I always like to return to it.

This time, I chose a bike to explore Barcelona, with which I quickly and easily went from one end of the city to another. This also saved me a few euros for a taxi or, public transport. In addition to visiting some museums and admiring magnificent buildings, I also explored a various culinary offer. For me, Barcelona is certainly the capital of good food, it is especially excellent for its gourmet offer. I was also impressed by the various offer of vegetarian and vegan foods, which is definitely lacking in my country. Barcelona is also an ideal location for shopping from brands like Zara, Bershka, Mango, Stradivarius etc. Shopping in Barcelona is really worth it, as their offer is significantly larger than ours. And now I returned to Slovenia full of nice memories and with a new autumn wardrobe.

Favorite building: Casa Batlló
Favorite museum: Museu de la Xocolata
Favorite coffee: Citizen Café
Favorite restaurant: EatMy Trip (I recommend Acai Bowl)
Favorite dessert: Churro
